ABOUT

Jordan Willis, Owner

GET TO KNOW JORDAN and what brings her JOY!

Hi there! I'm Jordan. I own a small, nostalgia-inspired modern fabric shop operated from the foothills of Northeast Georgia. I offer Quilt Kits, curated precut Bundles, select fabrics cut from the bolt, as well as the occasional quilt when I can summon the courage to part ways.

I specialize in Quilt Kits as well as custom bundles I've lovingly dubbed Bundles of Joy. Bundles of Joy highlight my nostalgic take on a modern aesthetic achieved by a rich mixture of solids and artistic prints that are guaranteed to narrate the story of your quilt. In my curations, I am often inspired by old family photographs, vintage fashion, gardening and literature.

Who is JORDAN?

I am a wife to Jason and mother to three year old, Caroline (Joy). My days are spent mothering and working my day job as a medical coder. At night, after Caroline is tucked in tight, I delight in stitched seams and unlikely fabric combinations.

My sewing journey began circa 2011 after I inherited my Grandmother’s sewing machine and an abundance of vintage patterns and notions. I immediately got to work and taught myself basic dressmaking skills and have sewn various garments and projects through the years.

After the birth of my daughter in 2018, I discovered modern quilting. I dreamed of stitching heirloom quilts for Caroline to love and pass down to her children. In the Fall of 2019 I completed my very first quilt. Jury's out on if I'll ever stop.

Why purchase from JORDAN AND JOY CO?

I recognize there is a plethora of quality businesses that you can purchase fabric from. I'm humbled that you would choose to visit my website, interact and shop with me. My promise to you is simple. I want to spread joy. I want to contribute my part in keeping the handmade craft alive. From your fabric selections to the checkout process to your happy mail day, I hope every step is pleasant. And I hope you're able to sew that joy right back into your project and into the hands of its recipient.
